hiya all sorry its been a while. well on the job front i had an interview last week and all was well until at 9.30 pm i got the dreaded call. Then i applied at the school next to the one i volunteer at and filled in the apllication form as did 4 other people i know. N ot one of us got an interview and the job went to a lady that is still doing her level 2. T he head at the school i'm at said that is known as an inside job which she says is illegal but happens. So i'm still looking for work and determined not to give up. T he new head starts in september and says wait till october but the school have been saying this since march. Hope you all are well and i would appreciate any advice any one can give as i had set my self a goal of being employed by september and i'm feeling a little dishearted.

you can only keep trying and apply for everything you see

there are a ot of TA roles advertised at this time of year, lots in my area and HLTA positions as well at the higher scale

make sure your app form is up to scratch, that you sell yourself well on it

Am in same position as you Julie, Just a case of keep trying. I have made countless applications lately and disheartening when you dont even get an aknowledgement for taking the time to apply. Have interview next week ! Hope you find the job for you soon.Keep your chin up.
