|
|
Am teaching french -Nursery through to Y4 ,and would love to hear any ideas for songs or games .
Game I have played with huge success is "douze". Get children standing in circle, someone starts the count at un and they can choose how many numbers (up to three at a time) they say with next child continuing where first one stopped. person who ends up having to say douze is out and the count starts again. works just as well in English for FS children!
Soz, haven't explained that very well but hope you get the idea!
Really need some up tempo, jazzy french christmas songs or carols, the ones I have come across are soooo boring. |

Have you tried Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | They've got some fab resources (songs, fairytales, games etc.) and the prices are very reasonable.
Our school has just ordered a load of stuff and I can recommend them. |

Haven't checked this out yet... but a couple of songs?
Excuse spellings, words a bit changed to fit the tunes...
Figure you(I) can sing, they can do the actions / learn some vocab as they go and join in... particularly the numbers, body parts, colours...
Corrections very welcome _________________ A clever person solves a problem.

The version I use goes:
Tete, epaules, genoux, pieds, genoux, pieds,
Tete, epaules, genoux, pieds, genoux, pieds,
Tete, epaules, genoux, pieds, genoux, pieds,
(If you pronounce epaules as epaulle-uh it fits better with the tune) _________________
